size aplication

Hi,

I am an aplication in Access97 and that have over 30Mb!
The tables in linked (foxpro) and

Size of other aplication create by me have 1 - 2Mb.
What is explication for that?
How can I optimise my aplication?
The size of aplication depend at size on linked tables?

Have you compacted the database recently? Do you have embedded images in
your forms and/or reports?

Yes , I compacted and my database have 12 Mb.
I have a image in report, bat is litle (I imported that with copy / paste.)

Embedded images can cause the size of the database to grow much more than
you'd think.
