size limitation

Hello,

I just wanted to know if there is a limit to how big a
database can be. I have imported data from 7 different
Excel Spreadsheets and these spreadsheets are huge! They
contain anywhere from 800 to about 10000 records. Can
Access handle this many records?

10,000 records is a tiny number for Access.
It will work fine at 50 times that size.

1 MB is a tiny Access database. 300 or 400 MB is starting to get large.

Or did you mean 1GB, in which case it was unstable because that was the
maximum size it could be.
