Size Rotation and ordering missing

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel When I go to the back of the formatting palette and select to display the Size Rotation and Ordering, it does not appear on the front of the palette and I cannot select that command.
A How do I get this to work correctly
B Alternatively is there a work around to get a column to sort or group?

I have a list where I have used strikethrough on a number of items and I wish to temporarily group those out so I can select the rest.

'Size, Rotation & Ordering' is a group of features that apply only to
graphic objects. The Toolbox/Formatting Palette is contextual, so those
features do not display until you select an object -- AutoShape, WordArt,
Clip Art, etc. -- to which they pertain. The same is true for other groups
of Object formatting tools, such as 'Colors, Weights & Fills', 'Quick Styles
& Effects', 'Reflection', etc. Likewise, the Formatting Palette returns
automatically to its default tool set when an object is no longer selected.

I don't have any idea what that has to do with sorting/grouping a column,
however. Assuming that your data is arranged properly you can effectively
filter the data by using the AutoFilter from the Data> Filter menu or by
applying the List Manager to your data list. The List Manager incorporates
the AutoFilter feature. Info on both AutoFilter & List Manager is available
in Excel Help.

Thanks Bob for the post. That helps clarify the matter.
What I need to do is I have a list, and some of the list I've used strike through to indicated the item is no longer used. I wish to sort to non strike through and strike through separately so I can copy just the non strike through. I'll try the list manager and hope that works.
Thanks

If you have any other thoughts on the above I'd love to hear them.

I'm afraid I didn't glean that from your original. Unfortunately, you cannot
sort or filter based on formatting attributes.
