Sizing the Reviewing Pane in Word 2007

Something pathologic has occurred in my instantiation of Word 2007...Whenever
I open the reviewing pane either vertically or horizontally, the sub-window
within which this pane opens extends off the left side of the screen. I've
minimised and maximised the window. I have re-started the application and
the computer. None of these techniques have solved this problem.

Any thoughts
