Sketching with Power Point ? Any other suggestions?

I am looking to do simple, one dimensional drawings and have tried several
programs like "Sketch-up" and "Corel Draw" but I find them too complicated.
The tools in Power Point are easy and do almost everything I need.

Does anyone have a suggestion for something similar but with more options?

I prefer drawing in PPT 2003. 2007 makes it more difficult and it's necessary
to draw in Word 2007 then copy and paste into PPT 2007.
