I am applying for a job and would like to know how I can differenciate my
skills from my talents. In other words what would be an example of a skill
and one fo a talent...

Hi Ojuice1 ,

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup.

Could you please tell us what led you to chose this newsgroup? We would
really like to know! :)

A talent is something you are born with. A skill is something you learn.

Talent: KNowing inherantly that you can look up the definitions of a
word.

Skill: Finding out in a newsgroup that you can look them up.

Talent = knowing what questions to ask.
Skill = knowing who to ask.
Wisdom = having the courage to ask them.

I would parse it this way:

Talent: Innate ability
Skill: Acquired ability

Talent: Knowing you need help

Skill: Knowing where to get it.
