Hi -
With the MVPs' help, I have macro'd my numbered list templates. Now I have
to decide how to handle follow-on paragraphs within the bulleted/numbered
lists. For example:
Body Text at this level.
1. First entry at this list level.
More info for this step, new "follow-on" paragaph - not numbered.
2. Second entry at this level.
3. Third entry at this level.
- Bulleted list.
- Second entry at this level.
More info for this bullet - new "follow-on" paragraph, not
bulleted.
- List continues etc.
after reviewing the older posts, I see two options:
1) Resurrect the "skip numbering" command and put it on my toolbar. Then
follow-on paras have the same list style, but no numbering. Big Question: is
this stable? Is it buggy local formatting like "restart numbering"? Will it
generate spaghetti?
2) Define a "continued" style for each level of indent in my
bulletted/numbered lists. These styles would probably be useful for other
things, like bulletless bullet paragraphs that start with run-in headers.
Any problems with this approach?
What do more knowedgable folks recommend?
Thanks
Joshua
