Skipped keystrokes in Onenote 2007 Beta and Vista RC1

J

Justin

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has experienced skipped keystrokes when
typing in OneNote containers. Essentially the problem is that as I type,
keystrokes are missed similar to if the keyboard were faulty. However, I have
ruled out the keyboard problem on the basis that I have tried attaching three
different keyboards and on the basis that keystrokes are only skipped in
OneNote and not any other programs such as Word.

If someone has experienced this and is aware of a way to overcome the
problem, your suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Patrick,

where you wanted to direct me to. Could you narrow the focus to the area that
might tell me a little about the problemt that I am experiencing please?

Many thanks
Justin

Sorry, I wasn't trying to send you anywhere. As far as I can remember,
this issue has been reported to MS and it will be fixed in the final
version. I don't think there was a workaround.

The workaround was to turn off your writing toolbar & pen toolbar (or some
combination of these).

The bug has been fixed in the RTM version, but in the meantime just turn off
those toolbars and OneNote will be better.

Hope this helps!

Thank you guys for the response. Even without a perfect workaround, your
response ensures that I retain my sanity.
