SKU001.cab missing

I have been unable to install SP3. I have the academic version of Office XP
and my disc
does not contain SKU 001.cab which the install program calls for. What do I
do? Perhaps the service pack does not apply to the academic version?

Are you sure that's the file name being requested. I checked all of the
Office System products, and I don't see this file in any of those images.
In Windows Add/Remove Programs, what Office 2003 products are listed?

Well, that explains why I couldn't find it. <g>

Anyhow, rereading your original message, you indicate that you have Office
XP. This file is on the Office
Professional Enterprise 2003 CD. SP3 is an update for Office XP, and
wouldn't provide this message. You must have Office 2003 installed
somewhere on your computer.
