It is on the Office CD that should have been supplied with the computer.

Are you saying the computer came with no CDs? If yes, did the computer
come with instructions for making restoration CDs should you ever need them?

Hi Malcolm,

If your computer didn't come with installation CDs then the OEM is required to supply them and the recovery CD is *not* an acceptable replacement.

If you didn't receive your CDs then contact Sony and request a copy. If they refuse then please get the name of the individual you spoke to and email me all of the details such as your name, case #, etc.

We have made MS aware of this issue and they are taking an interest it so the more information you (or anyone in the same situation) can supply the more success we will have in resolving OEMs not supplying installation media.

I have Windows 2000 and can get into my Office Student and Teacher Edition
2003; I have that disk. My computer cannot find sku112.cab on the CD and I
cannot find ANY useful information on where to get this file. I cannot even
find out what in the world it is for. What is Microsoft's Problem?????? Is
there an answer on the web somewhere that I didn't find in my 2 hour search?
There are sites out there that may have the answer but I am not going to
spend money on each site to do more seaching.

Any help out there?

berth,
i read your suggestion to steve reg sku112.cab.
I have the following problem:
I installed the office 2003 pro version (FRENCH) on a new Packard Bell PC I
bought in GERMANY with already installed german home office trial version.

- when opening the office app i.e word or excel, it says sku112. is missing,
it can't find it neither on the cd (as the original Cd is part of a 10
Licenses agreement, I made a copy of it, when my French employer sent me to
Germany to build ops there (can the copy be The Problem?)
- I deleted the German Office trial version on the PC
- I can't find the Office elements on the PC installation disk (part of a a
packard bell CD)

Would it be possible to take the sku112.cab file from the German home trial
version (if I manage to find it) and put it (where) in the french office pro
2003 version?

Thank you for your help
