I read the other 7 posts and heard some familiar info. I purchased a Compaq
Presario 11/17/04 with a trial version of Office 2003 Student/Teacher on it.
I loaded it. During the last 10hrs i have been online with HP Support
personel and one had me Remove/uninstall the above Trial Version of '03 as
well as my version of '97. BIG MISTAKE. Now i can not get it back working. I
tried many things over the solid last 3 hours to no avail. I did get close
by using the TOOL menu Restore option. Now the missing sku112.cab file.
HELP! Now i can not get to items that I really need to work on...this on the
heels of being sick for several months. Praying that one of you has the
magical answer. Thanx in advance.

Try the cleanup utility, while it won't work on your Office 97 products it will
cleanup the 2003 installation files.
