detailed gantt view shows free slack as a blue-green bar. In my project, some
tasks show an extremely long free slack time. Example: Task B is succeeded
by Task C. Task B finishs 2 days before Task C needs to start. So Task B has
2 days of free slack. However, MS Project shows that Task B has twice as many
days or more (e.g 4 or 10days).
I have 172 tasks in this project. Looks like 6 tasks have this problem.
Can't figure out why the free slack is so long. In fact, the slack even goes
beyond the completion of the very last task in the project. That is
confusing. How can free slack go beyond the scheduled completion of the last
task?
Any Ideas?
Thx
