Hi,
Ik work with the Dutch version of Excel 2003 in the Dutch version of Office
XP.
When I enter one of the following formulas in a cell and then press Enter,
the correct resulting figure appears in that cell.:
=10*2
=10-2
=10+2
However, if I typ =10/2 I don't get the number 5 in that cell. Instead, I
get an error message stating that the formula that i typed contains an error
(sic!).
(10/2 is just an example. The same happens with all other numbers: example:
1452.58/36.54)
What is wrong with my Excel? Why doesn't the division work?
Thanks in advance for all your help.
John
