Slide design bomb Powerpoint

Any Ideas why Powerpoint quits when you try to add a slide design
(Background) to a presentation??

Better yet, how can you fix it so that it wil not happen?

Hi Ron,

What version of PowerPoint are you using? What operating system? What
slide design did you use? Does it happen with this slide design in other
presentations?

I am using Powerpoint 2004 Version 11 on G4 with dual 450mhz
processors. All slide designs do the same thing. If I create the design on
one of my g4 iMacs I have no problem, but the presentation will not load in
on my G4 tower.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Blends seems to be the only working design!!!
