It's hard to say exactly what is going on without looking at the slide
show. For the Main Show custom animation, do you have all the slides
there? If you are afraid of messing something up, then make a copy of
the presentation. Then, if you mess up the copy beyond recognition, you
can still go back to the original. You might want to have a look at the
PowerPoint Looping tutorial here:
http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/powerpointlooping.htm
I believe it was written for Windows, but everything should still work
on the Mac version.

Ok...because I wanted my first two slides to repeat themselves in a loop
(an only those 2) we (the apple store person that helped me) put in in a
custom show. There are about 40 some slides altogether. When i opened up
the slide show menu and then went to set up show and custom a box opened
up that had 2 shows in there...one was the two looped slides and the
other were the rest of the PP slides. I just noticed that now two
additional slides are now not showing up when I do the presentation
(like they are hidden...I must have pressed the hidden "button" at some
point with them. So that is my situation right now...I am almost afraid
to touch anything as I might mess it up further. The slide transitions
for the main show is is set for manual...and has no minutes that show
anywhere. When I open up Custom Show box the following appears:
Custom Shows
Intro Loop New
Main Show Edit
Remove
Copy
So the problem is not resolved...does this help you to understand my
situation better? Since i am new at this i need step by step
instructions. Please help as I am getting really nervous and I have to
travel from Rochester NY to Columbus Ohio next Wed.
Thanks...
Ross
