slide layouts or designs don't show up

Jennifer

Hi,

I apologize if this question has been asked before. I've seen it discussed
on other boards, but so for no one has come up wiht a solution, so I thought
I would try here.

In PowerPoint 2003 SP2 when I select Format- Slide Layout, the slide layout
thumbnails don't show up. I reinstalled Office XP, and obtained the latest
updates from the web and it worked, unitl I logged off my computer. Then
when I logged back on the next day it was not working again.

Any suggestions.

Thanks,

Jen

I have this Problem too but under mac. In the Standard view the
presentation layouts are not shown. only the text. I found no way to
display the text and the layout like it is under openoffice and also
under powerpoint for Windows...

Has somebody a layoutview on the left side?

Thanks for a hint

Mac PPT has only the equivalent of the Outline pane in the left panel when
working in Normal View. It doesn't offer the Slides pane. For the thumbnails
of your slides you need to use Slide Sorter View.
