We have a .pot that was created in PP2003. When a new presentation is created
in PP2007 (by choosing a new presentation and then applying the related .pot
design), the slide # does not appear on slides. Further, PP2007 changes the
slide # font color from white to black in the slide master. I experimented by
deleting the older .pot so that only the .potx was in place in my templates
folder. I then created a new presentation. It did not make any difference.
I know how to fix this after the slideshow is created, but since this is a
template that is "used by the masses" here, is there any way to make this
display slide number work without afterwards cleaning up the gaps?
