Slide Show and have to double click to advance

T

Tim

Does anyone know why I would have to double click to advance a slide during a
slide show? To my knowledge there is not a setting to be changed as I have
checked and it does not happen just on the 1st slide, it happens on all of
them. It also seems to happen with templates that I get from Power Designs
that include some very small animation. Suggestions, thoughts, or answers?

Thanks

Could it be that the first click activates some animation on the slide
master, and the second click advances the slide? Try viewing the animations
on the slide master (View > Master > Slide Master and then Slide Show Menu
Custom Animation). You should be able to remove the annoying animations.
Personally, I hate when the master is animated.

FWIW, I find that if my final animation on a slide involves bulleted items
that dim as the next bullet comes up, I will invariably have to double click
to move to the next slide.
