Slide show photo gallery

Is it possible to change the size of the large photo in
the slide show gallery. For my photos to be viewable, I
have to pan across the page. I would like for the
thumbnails and the opened large photo to fit on the page
with no panning. Hopefully this is possible. I know I can
change the size of the thumbnails, but does this change
the size of the opened photo?

Use an image editing program to resample the images and reduce there physical size.

The free IrfanView can do this for you.
