Slide Show Sound

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

When I add sound to a slide show it plays fine on my Imac but when I e-mail it to people with PCs the sound is lost.

did you email the sound file along with the powerpoint file?

I was not aware that I had to attach the sound file when e-mailing a PPTX file. The Tool bar menu merely says Insert Sound so I thought that the sound was incorporated into the PPTX file automatically. I receive dozens of PPS files per week and none of them have a separate sound file. Is there another place in the program where the sound file is added to the Slide Show?

Powerpoint WILL insert small sound files.
Big sound files are generally 'linked' and not saved within your powerpoint
file.
