How to I make a slide show, using pictures, that will play on a DVD player.

The picture files are from an electronic campera and are all JPG files.

Can I Use Power Point to do this?

I would skip PowerPoint and use something like Windows Movie Maker. Or even
Nero and Roxio DVD burning softwares have options to burn pictures to DVD so
that they play in a DVD player.

PowerPoint is good at slide shows, but taking that extra step to DVD is a
royal PITA. There are lots of PPT to DVD conversion programs out there
(they'll all be along shortly to spam your post and suggest that you use
their software), and some work better than others. But I say, why bother
introducing PPT into the mix at all when it's simply not necessary?
