Slide Tranisitions in PPT XP with Flash - More Detail

B

Bob

I'm using PowerPoint XP Professional. I'm pretty
proficient at PowerPoint, but I don't know Flash. I was
wondering if any of you has any wisdom you could share.

One of the programmers in my client's organization
created a flash banner. The images on the banner move
forward, backward, stop, and change speed based on
mouseovers. They also loop continuously unless there is a
mouse click on it.

My client liked the flash and wanted it embedded into a
PowerPoint presentation that I'm developing for them.

I've been able to embed it but I can't apply further
automatic timed animation to the slide (text builds,
voice) or even worse, an automatic transition to the next
slide without clicking the mouse.

The presentation needs to run hands off like a movie.

Should I be able to build animations and slide
transitions in the slide if the flash file embedded in
the slide?

Should I be able to build animations and slide
transitions in the slide if the flash file embedded in
the slide master?

Do I need to ask for a change to the code to take out the
mouse-over responses so that the animation just plays
once, at one speed, in one direction and doesn't loop?

If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate hearing from
you.
