Slide Transitions

I have a PP presentation using photos and music. This may
be played on a computer that does not havre PP so I saved
it using Pack and Go. The photos saves, the music saved,
but the slide transitions did not. Because the slide
transistion does not play, the sequence is off.

Any suggestions to make it work?

The Pack and Go viewer, PPVIEW32.EXE can only play
transitions from PowerPoint 97 or earlier. If you used
newer transitions, then the pictures will just appear
instead of transitioning.

I just went through the same thing with 8 large PP2002
files. Luckily, I found out early on about the viewer
limitations and only used older transitions. You can turn
off the newer transitions in PP2002 by going to
Tools/Options, then the Edit tab. Near the bottom, you
can disable New Animation Effects. This will make the
animation interface revert to the PP97 one so you don't
use any the viewer can't play.

I have read that PP2003 will have a new type of Pack and
Go that will create presentations that can be played
directly from a CD and can play the newer animations.
