Slide transtitions?

Is there a way to make the next slide "BOX-OUT" form a
specified point in the current slide? For example if
there is a map on the current slide, can you make the
next slide pop out of a specific point of the map, rather
then the center?

Yes, and sadly no. Depends on your version of PowerPoint.

Always mention this. Answering questions without this, is like giving
directions when you don't know where the person currently is.

So, if you are in the Southern hemisphere turn left; Northern, turn right;
and walk until you get to the International Date Line ...
