slides cut off

I have Microsoft XP and create my powerpoint presentations. I don't use any
animation or videos and use manual slide transition. When I load it on a
laptop with XP it looks fine but when I sometimes get to the location and
hook up the projector - sometimes the slides get cut off. any suggestions?

Sounds like a resolution (pixel) mismatch.

What resolution is the laptop (e.g. 1024x768)

What resolution is the projector?
