I have created slides with very bright backgrounds, and they look fine in editing mode. However, when I view the slideshow (on my computer or projected on the screen) the color is very faded and they looked washed out. Everything is muted, not just the background (that is just what is most noticeable). Why would they change their appearance like this? I can't find any setting that would make the slides look different in the two modes. By the way, they also look faded in the small versions in the left sidebar--very different from their appearance in the main editing window.
