slides will not automatically advance once music is attached

'm using PP2007 for a slide show with pictures. The slides advance
automatically as planned...until I attached the music to a slide. The slide
that it is attached on no longer advances. I want a whole song to play while
multiple slides advance. Now, the slide sits until the whole song is done
playing, then the next slide comes up.

Please help!

In the animation pane, double click on the name of the sound and look "Stop
after..."

I haven't used 2007 much, but if you see a Speaker icon on the slide where
you inserted your sound, this should work.

Right click the Speaker, choose Custom Animation. (You might see a Sound
Options panel at the top of your screen instead).

In the Custom Animation panel, right-click your sound file, choose Effect
Options.

Find the Stop playing section, click After: and put in the number of
slides (or more) that your song will be playing.
