Slides won't advance on mouse click.

Hello!

Working on a presentation, and ran up against a problem.
Wondering if anyone out there encountered the same
problem and if they did, how they fixed it.

I have a 9-slide presentation and I am trying to get the
slides to advance on mouse click. I've set all of the
transitions as such by removing the "Advance
Automatically" option, leaving only the "Advance on Mouse
Click" option checked. However, when I go to preview my
presentation, the slides absolutely will not advance on
mouse click. They just sit there. I've tried everything
I can think of, but the stupid slides just sit there.
Any suggestions?
