Slideshow and WORD closing problem

Often, my screensaver has been on and when I start using the computer again,
it has a window that asks me if I want to save changes to the document I was
working on. It seems that the screensaver is telling windows to shut down
the document, any ideas about what is happening and how to stop it? Many
