These graphics are in my own and in other peoples DOCs. It definitely doesn't seem to be a problem like Tools > options > view > <anything>.
Whether in Print Layout or Preview, paging up and down makes graphics of all types come and go - they disappear entirely, get chopped up. They're still in the DOC of course but steps have to be taken constantly to refresh them and I can't do any of that in Preview mode.
I can select and Format Picture, make some change to
Layout and get it back, lose it again, change it again, etc. In my own DOCs these graphics are usually Insert | Picture | From File and they may be JPG, BMP, WMF, GIF - makes no diff. Sometimes I try cutting them out and Paste Special choices - none of them has helped.
Same problem happens with Insert | Picture | New drawing. Seems more like a Graphics Adapter problem but doesn't happen anywhere but my new Word 2002. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Writing and reviewing DOCs is greatly hampered by this problem.
