Slimming Office 2007 footprint thru custom install

Hello everyone, and Happy 2008!

I've been Googling, LiveSearching and forum searching for info on features
that could easily be trimmed from Office 2007's apps during a custom
installation -- but to no avail so far.

Would anyone be able to pass along a few links with this sort of advice? I'm
looking for discussions with a little clearer opinion about the usefulness of
various features & add-ins. I understand "it's all a matter of taste," but in
many instances I can't tell what I'm tasting: To my mind, the descriptions
offered on the custom install menu of the feature sets in Office 2007 are
extremely telegraphic and of relatively low value for this sort of thing.

In my case, I'm installing Office 2007 Ultimate, but it doesn't much matter.

Who can tell, without knowing what you are going to be using.
If you are worried about footprint then time to upgrade your hd's
