Slipstreaming NON-OEM Office Pro 2003

Hello,

For ease of any future installs (I reformat and reinstall my comp usually
every 4 or 5 months), I would like to slipstream MS Office Professional 2003
(non-oem) full retail version.

Incorporating the latest Service Pack 2 and also able to auto imput my
Product Key, my details etc.

I have tried following a couple of online explanations on doing this and I
have downloaded the required SP2 file - but I get the non-enterprise version
dialog popping up...so can't copy the Office CD's files to the HDD.

Can someone please explain the best way to Slipstream as stated above using
my personal full retail version of Office Pro 2003 and the SP2...?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi F.G.,

Only the Volume License/Enterprise version of Office 2003 supports the creation of an Office Admin Point, which is where you can
apply updates and create a custom CD. For retail and OEM (identical except for the individual license installation limitations) you
can copy the CD to a hard drive and install from there, but usually you'd need to 'chain' the different updates to follow the
initial installation of Office 2003.

I see....many thanks for your reply.

Shame really as it worked really well on my Windows XP/SP2 unattended
install.

By the way...when I slipstreamed my Windows XP/SP2 CD - I edited a winnt.sif
file for all the install details including my name, product ID, Time zone,
formatting, etc.

Which file contains all this info when you have a fully working Office
Proffessional 2003 slipstreamed SP2 disk?

Regards
