Morning All...
I am using Access 2000 as a Front-end for forms and
reports that uses tables linked from a SQL database. I
have set a switchboard that will open however, it it takes
forever to open on some machines. In some cases it takes
up to 45 seconds before opening. Once it is open, all of
the forms and reports work quickly, but I have am losing
the confidence of users because of the time it takes to
open.
What could cause this slowdown and what exactly is the
program doing at startup. It's very frustrating to try and
debug it to speed it up.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
