Anyone else seeing a slowdown in the search function of the address
book in Entourage 2004 with the SR2?
I'm on a G5 2Ghz, with 2.5 gigs of ram. Main Identity is about 1.2
gigs, and I have 3600 contacts.
Before the upgrade, searches in the Address book, for last name, while
ordered/sorted by Name, was under one second.
Now with the SR2, it takes well over 7 seconds each time.
I've compacted and then rebuilt the database. I've also run a few
utilities, like Disk Warrior and Onyx, to see if that would help. But
still some pretty slow searches.
