slow form opening

In Access 2002 project, I have a form that opens very slowly, and it is due to some unbound fields
Unbound fields seem to paint on the form last
Any ideas

Do the unbound fields have any DCount/DSum/DLookup etc formulae in them. If
so, then slow is normal!
