Slow import task to MS Project

I've developed an application in vb6 that with Ms Project DOM import task
from another source. The import is very very slow. I read in a website that
is the multiprocessor system cause this problem.
Anyone know something?

It might be something in your code. How large is the project? How slow is
slow? Where is the data coming from? If you post some code it might be
possible to spot a problem, but without seeing the code it is very difficult
to guess what is going wrong.
