Slow name resolution in Outlook 2007

Hello,

I have a user with Outlook 2007, connected to our Exchange server.
When she types a name, the autocomplete could take up to 3 minutes to
resolve the name and allow her to type again. We have in the past
deleted her .NK2 file which of course sped her up, until a few months
down the line she's back at the same problem again.

The closest fix I have found so far is listed here:
http://www.groovypost.com/howto/microsoft/outlook/fix-slow-outlook-email-address-auto-complete/.
We have the EXACT same setup as documented on the site..

* Microsoft Vista Enterprise Edition
* Microsoft Outlook 2007 (errr… Office 2007)
* McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5.0i

I followed the fix, which looked to work for about 10 minutes, but
then she was slow again. The size of the .NK2 file is about 500 KB. Is
this too large? I had heard about a registry edit that can be applied
to limit how many entries the .NK2 file will keep, but what are the
limits before autocomplete will have issues like long name resolution?
Is 500 entries a good amount to set it at? Any help is greatly
appreciated.
