hello,
i have a client with SBS 2000 with all of the updates.
The client is a wXP with outlook xp and all of the
updates, windows and office. When the client opens an
email with an attachment, it may take 15-30 seconds for
the email attachment to open. It happens on 7KB and 1MB
files, same amount of time. The server is exchange. The
server is a dual P3 with 2GB RAM, plenty of free space.
They have 10/100 NICS and hubs. i have swapped PC's with
the user in question, same result. The old PC was a Dell,
new one is a intel box. The user has a mailbox of 800MB.
On the server, I defragged the exchange database.
I am looking for any thoughts. I have only one user
complaining about it. All other users seem to be fine.
Any thoughts.
