Slow opening of attachments

We are in the process of migrating users from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
Users that have laptops with Outlook 2000 are experiencing slowness in
opening larger attachments ( 1 MB or greater ) when they have been moved to
the new 2003 server. If they are moved back to the Exchange 5.5 server, the
attachments open with normal response time. They are using OST files and
have cleaned out the temporary folder area in Local Settings. Is there an
Outlook setting that needs to be adjusted ?

Did you recreate the mail profile and/or ost-file already?

Just curious; since you are running Exchange 2003 why are you running
Outlook 2000 and not Outlook 2003? Each Exchange 2003 CAL allows you to use
Outlook 2003 on a client to connect to the Exchange server.
