Slow Printing after installing Hot Fixes

I installed SP4 for Windows 2000 and MS03-040 through MS03-
045 on an IBM Thinkpad T22. The next time I tried to print
from Word, the document immediately went to the spool, but
it took almost 5 minutes for the job to be processed from
the print spool. Does the same thing every time now. Any
ideas what might have caused it or how to fix it? Please
email me if you have a solution. Thanks.

Some people have had printer issues after SP4. For some reinstalling the
printer driver worked, for others the printer manufacturer released an
updated driver. Hope yours is that easy to fix.

I didn't have exactly the same problem but maybe this will lead you
somewhere. After I installed SP4, one of my 2 printers wouldn't print at
all. After a lot of investigation, I found a very simple problem/fix.
Somehow that printer had been paused! I just released the pause and it was
fine!

Strange! Since it's Halloween, maybe there are spooks in the computer!
