slow response when viewing or adding new contacts

I just installed a trial version of Outlook 2007. I have synched 52 contacts
from my phone to computer. When I click to view my contract address book, it
takes 4-5 minutes to process the request and display the data. I have
removed previous versions of Outlook from my computer using the "remove
programs". Seems that I may have a corrupted file. Any suggestions?

I can think of no worse way to create Contacts than to do so by syncing from
a phone. Might want to try a standard, supported method for creating your
Contacts.
