Excel2007
I have a workbook of 21 sheets. One of these sheets behaves strangely:
When I display this particular sheet the build-up of the screen takes +/-
5seconds. All other sheets display without any delay.
Some facts and observations:
1) The delay occurs when Excel has to display this problem-sheet or rebuild
its display:
==> using Ctrl+PageUp/Down to move to the sheet
==> click on this particular sheet-tab
==> when I switch from another active program back into Excel, when it is
positioned on the problem sheet
==> when I move the cursor out of the sheet's displayed range so that the
screen needs to rebuild
2) The formatting of this sheet is not very fancy, it is the same as on most
of the other sheets.
3) The sheet is the "largest" in the workbook (351.981 cells - cols A - IY,
1359 rows) The 2nd largest sheet has 230.524 cells and shows no delay.
4) The sheet - like all other sheets - contains +/- 40% data and 60% formulae
5) The workbook contains VBA and macros but not in this sheet. Neither of
these has to do with manipuliating the display.
6) None of the workbooks contain any graphs, shapes or pictures
7) I have changed printer drivers (although I would never attempt to print
any of this). The behaviour is the same with all of my 10 printer drivers.
How can I get this sheet up to speed?
