Slow scrolling (delay) in office problem?

Hi everyone,

I have a small but very annoying problem:

When scrolling (with my mouse) in all office applications
(excel, word, ppt) there is a delay. Instead of a smooth
transition it is jumping.

This applies only to office applications...Other apps
like IE, Firefox....the scroll function works just fine.

I've reinstalled office twice now (office 2003) and checked with
3 different mice. ( 2 microsoft and a logitech mouse)
The all behave the same....

B.T.W Ctrl+scroll works just fine (smooth) in office, but not simple
scroll...

Any hints what might be causing this?
