Slow update of folders

Hi, we have 2 users who report their Entourage being painfully slow
whilst updating its folders with the server. The performance is so poor
that it hesitates whilst they are writing emails mid-sentence. We are
using Kerio email system (similar in principal to Exchange) and the
client is Entourage 2004. We have tried recreating the account but this
hasn't helped. We have also used the webmail version of Kerio and this
is not slow, so all seems to point to Entourage. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Matt, sorry for the late reply. No I haven't got it resolved and I'm
getting it in the neck from the client. Kerio have not been able to
help. We have tried all the obvious ideas like recreating the accounts,
rebuilding the database, checking subfolders for illegal characters in
folder names. How about you?

Try adding this folder "Macintosh HD/Users/Documents/Microsoft User
Data", to the privacy pane in Spotlight and to the safe zone in
Symantec Norton Antivirus. Its fixed my issues with the slow typing.
