Slow word open from form script

Hi,

I have an outlook forms application that opens a word document from an
attachment, performs some operations on it, then saves the document as an
attachment again.

All works well on a mixed 2k/xp office 2000 sr1 network, except for one xp
machine.

The open of the document takes about 2 minutes to happen, before all
proceeds as it should. The time it takes to open is my concern. Opening the
same attachment by double click takes no time at all.

Has anyone observed this behavior, or suggest a solution?
