I get the error message 'OLE received a packet with an invalid extension'
when trying to export my invoices to Word (which is the only thing I export
to Word) from SBA2006. I tried to use the KB article info about removing and
reinstalling .net but that didn't resolve my problem. Any other ideas?

As a suggestion try renaming your modified template.
