small dashes in text when viewing previewing Web site

when i click on "preview your Web site" there are some small dashes above
some of the text that appear only when viewing. They don't appear in the
text box while editing in publisher. Anyone know what these are?

I waited a while to respond, hoping someone else might recognize the
problem. I have never seen this, but once your actually upload your site,
please repost with a link to the page where you are seeing the problem.
Perhaps then we will be able to help.

Here is a stab in the dark...are you using web friendly fonts?
