small letters after numbers

I lost the formatting to automaticly change the st, nd, rd to small letters
when following a number such as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ect.. I changed computers and
now Word 2007 will not move the letter to the upper part of the number and
reduce the size. I looked at the formatting window and still can't find what
I'm looking for. Any ideas?

Office Button | Word Options | Proofing | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat
As You Type: "Ordinals (1st) with superscript." I would have thought this
would be enabled by default.
