Smart quotes

How do you turn off smart quotes but still get the smart quote look? What I
need to do is to put an apostrophe into words like *he'll* or * 'and your
money over* and have it look like a proper, not a straight, quote, but the
right way round. Smart quotes always put the first quote mark the wrong way
round for this application.

An apostrophe seems to work in the case of *he'll* and other similar
elisions.

For *'and your money over*, whilst it's a bit clunky, you can type *hand*,
insert the apostrophe between the *h* and the *a* and then delete the *h*.

Thanks Peter. That seems to solve it.
