Hi,
I have developed smart tag by referencing the samples of msdn
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa168840(office.11).aspx
), it works well on office 2003 and 2007 applications(word, outlook, ppt,
excel), xp or vista with differenct service pack. Recently, i updated the
office 2003 by packing German language package, the strange thing is that the
smart tag for office application stop working, the smart tag even cannot be
found in the list of smart tag options. After check the registry, the smart
tag key seems ok in current user and local machine. I spent a long time on
fixing it, but failed. I have also open the microsoft fusion logs, there is
no smart tag dll loaded, it seems that the smart tag didn't pass the security
check, then i lower the macro security of all the office application, it
still didn't work.
Should i change something for smart tag of different language office
applications? by the way, my smart tag application does support different
language strings.
Can someone help me on it? Any tools for trouble shooting or suggestions?
